Help us Improve Futures for Families in our community!

   

  Pat Goggin and Peter Lanc invite you to LIVE UNITED!

  Peter, HR Director at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac is Chairing

  the 2008 United Way Campaign. Pat Goggin, coordinator for

  the Cadillac Area  Industrial Group is acting as Vice Chair.

The annual fundraising campaign is the major resource that fuels the United Way in Wexford County. The resources raised through pledges and donations are maximized and leveraged to impact the critical needs identified as top priorities for families in our own community.

Your Help is Needed to:

1. Volunteer to help in the Annual Pledge drive:

Many volunteers are needed to reach out to all of the businesses and organizations in the fall campaign. To Join the Campaign Committee, call the United Way office at : 231-775-3753.

2. Give

Every pledge is maximixed to provide powerful impact in areas of Income, Education and Health- the building blocks for a successful life.

Advancing the Common Good is the overlying mission behind United Way.

Your gift is directed to local strategies affecting children, families and seniors.  One gift goes to suppport over 24 local programs! Also consider sponsoring one of United Way of Wexford County's Annual Events including the Sue Westhauser Golf Classic, Silent Auction, or the 2009 Leadership Luncheon.

3. Hold a special event for United Way

Do a special fun event at your workplace or group. Call Diane at United Way for helpful ideas.

4. Advocate

Support and speak out for solutions in our community. Join United Way and other Community Partners to reduce Teen Pregnancy and Child Abuse and Neglect, and to Strengthen the financial stability of families. These long term outcomes will advance the common good for everyone.
