Working on 2-1-1 ...

Celebrate The 800 Number!

A Community Celebration was held at the Cadillac City Park on Thursday, July 30 at 5 p.m. in recognition of the many supporters

who have made it possible for Wexford County to begin Phase 2 of the 2-1-1 Initiative.  Phase One has been completed by the Chamber Leadership Class. Phase One completed securing financial support for one year and committments for three years by many community businesses and the population of the 2-1-1 database. The launching of an 800 Number precedes the actual    2-1-1 number as final organizational procedures take place. Expected start for 2-1-1 calling is by 2010. All of Michigan is working toward statewide coverage of 2-1-1 by 2011!
